Cream For Bleeding Hemorrhoids ¿ Are They Really Effective?

A lot of people think that the cream for bleeding hemorrhoids is not that effective. In fact, they believe that it does not completely cure the problem, but only offers temporary relief for the ailment. However, some people do argue that these creams can cure hemorrhoids completely. These two differing opinions are confusing a lot of people out there who want quick and easy relief for their condition. Before we determine which argument is true, we need to examine these creams thoroughly.

There are many kinds of cream for bleeding hemorrhoids available in the market today. They are so many of these creams available that it is sometimes hard to decide which one to use. Most of these creams contain dye, coloring, additives, and petrochemicals, which will augment the appearance and the texture of the cream itself. They can be directly applied to the exposed area or into the rectum by using an applicator. The components inside the cream will be absorbed into the hemorrhoid, which will expel the said hemorrhoid from the body.

The primary substances contained in the cream for bleeding hemorrhoids are the following: keratolytics, anesthetics, analgetics, antiseptics, vasoconstrictors, astringents, and lubricants. Each of these chemicals has a specific function to carry out. For example, anasthetics suppress the pain and provide temporary relief while vasoconstructors shrink the hemorrhoid. Keratolytics, on the other hand, eliminate the hemorrhoid tissue with sulfur and salicylic acid. Lubricants provide relief of constipation while astringents help constrict the tissue pushed out by the hemorrhoids. All of these substances were specifically mixed to get rid of hemorrhoids. So, the question still stands, are these creams really effective?

To many people, the answer is no. It is not that effective. The only thing it can do is offer temporary relief. The arguments for this negative opinion are quite many. One particular argument against it is the presence of anesthetics. They can further aggravate and irritate the problem. Another point to consider is the presence of antiseptics. Antiseptics are deemed worthless in this situation because the area affected is constantly assaulted by bacteria. It is also been proven that the chemical supposed to help with constipation does not do anything.

The final verdict is that these types of cream only offer temporary relief but not the cure itself. It is better to look for alternative cures, such as switching to anti-constipation diet plans. The intake of lots of water and fibrous foods help your intestines work properly and also promotes excellent bowel movement. If you want temporary relief without the possibility of aggravating the problem, then you better not use any kind of cream for bleeding hemorrhoids.
